The Flourishing Mama
A community mothers’ group facilitated by a perinatal psychologist and a myotherapist/Pilates practitioner, bringing a whole-woman lens to motherhood and mother-centered care.
The Flourishing Mama is a space for mothers to connect in community, deepen their understanding of themselves and motherhood, and feel supported in both their emotional and physical wellbeing as they navigate this season of life together.
Our Vision
To create a space where:
Mothers feel deeply seen, heard, and validated in their experience of motherhood
The complexity of motherhood is named, normalised and honoured with honesty and compassion
Women are supported to reconnect with themselves - emotionally and physically
Meaningful friendships and genuine support networks can grow through shared experience and community
Mothers leave feeling more grounded, resourced, connected, and supported in themselves and their mothering journey
About
-
The Flourishing Mama is a mothers’ group that places the mother at the centre of care.
Created as a space for connection, reflection, and support, it offers mothers the opportunity to come together in community with other like-minded women navigating the many transmotherhood.
Through guided conversations, body-based education and gentle psychoeducation, mothers are supported to better understand and nurture their emotional and physical wellbeing during the postpartum period.
-
Mothers within the first 12 months of birthing and at any stage of motherhood (first-time and experienced mamas are welcome here).
This group is for:
women who want to feel, seen, heard, and supported as individuals, not just caregivers.
mothers who are craving deeper connection and more honest conversations.
women who want to invest in their wellbeing, identity. and mothering experience.
-
The Flourishing Mama is delivered over 6, consecutive weeks of 90-minute, in person sessions.
Each week will include a psychoeducation or body-based education topic facilitated by Rach or Ash, with opportunity to share, reflect and connect in an intimate, small-group setting.
There will also be plenty of time to mingle and socialise with mamas and their bubs witTea, coffee and light snacks will be provided.
-
$300 for the full six-week program. Payment will not be taken until minimum group numbers are met. Once the group is confirmed, a payment link will be emailed to you.

FAQs
-
Absolutely! Our sessions are family-friendly, with space to feed, change and play while you connect and learn.
-
We understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable. If you're unable to attend a session, you'll receive a pass to the same session for the following term.
-
Sharing is always optional. You're welcome to simply listen, reflect, and take what you need.
-
A paid group allows us to keep the group intentionally small; hold a space that is safe, consistent, and deeply supportive; create a high-quality, facilitated experience; and attract mothers who are ready to invest in themselves. This helps build a true village, not just a weekly catch-up.
